Student update from Lima
*Note: Just wanted to remind everyone that updates from the group depend on the fullness of their schedule and the ability to send them. So some days there may be no updates, and others (like today) there may be more than one.
Here is a student update from their day in Lima yesterday....
Tuesday May 13th- 11:11pm
Hello everyone!
We just finished our first full day in Lima. After a tasty Peruvian breakfast, we left our hostel to check out the city. We started our morning at the cat park, which is a beautiful park home to a ton of cats! They were super friendly and even let us pet them. We had our morning prayer time among the cats, which was super cool.

Once we started to get a bit hungry, we headed to the grocery store to pick up lunch supplies. We roamed the grocery store looking for sandwich supplies, then walked to another park to eat. It had an amazing ocean view.
We had some more time in the city, then watched the sunset on the beach (of the Pacific Ocean)! After that, we headed to a Peruvian restaurant for dinner. It was super tasty!

We ended our night back at the hostel. They had fruit taste-testing, so we tried some local fruit. We wrapped up our night together with our evening prayer.
Being here has made the beauty of God's creation even more noticeable. It's so easy to see His work here!
We are growing much closer as a group and have had the opportunity to have some really meaningful conversations. We can't wait to begin serving!
We'll talk to you all soon. Thanks for following along so far on this incredible journey!
