John Myers
John Myers reaches out to students at Elizabethtown College.
John joined CCO staff in 2007, but began ministering on Elizabethtown College's campus two years prior. With a growing conviction that his local church had a responsibility to reach out to students at the College, he joined the Ultimate (Frisbee) group.
Many years later, John still engages students with disc sports. He also helps students lead two fellowships on campus: The Branch (for athletes) and Rekindle (non-athletes). Finally, John invites students into the life of Etown BIC Church, where he serves on staff part-time.
John and his wife, Kim, have three adult children: Jesse (married to Emily), Emma (married to Isaac), and Jack (in college). One favorite way to connect with college students is weekend cookouts at the Myers' home.
