Pete Ware's STAND/CCO Bike-A-Thon
Bike-a-Thon for Pete's STAND/CCO Ministry at Cal!
On Thursday, November 2, I will be braving the elements of late fall with a couple of university administrators for a ministry bike-a-thon. In this event, we will ride loops through our beautiful campus to raise funds for my ministry role with the CCO here in California, PA!
Why Ride 15 Loops?
God has blessed me with 15 years of riding my bike to our beautiful campus to serve students with STAND Campus Ministry through the CCO and it's still going strong.
Would you be able and willing to sponsor me for this event?
I would love to have you join me in this event through a donation towards my loops and effort on the ride. Every amount will help me reach my goal of $5,000 for this event. Our goal is to do 15 loops(about a mile each) through campus in the middle of the day!
You can make a gift of a flat amount or pledge per loop. Any gift ($25, $50, $100, or even more) is deeply appreciated!
My request or suggestion is $7/loop or $105 for the day, as you are able.

Thank you so much for considering joining me in ministry through your donation towards this event. The amount raised in this event goes towards my position funding which includes salary, benefits and health care cost, staffing training fees, and ministry expenses!
Since 2008, CCO staff member Pete Ware has been reaching out to students at PennWest California.
Pete first joined CCO staff in 2006 to minister to students at Eastern University, Villanova University, and Valley Forge Military College.
"I get to invest in college students daily and watch their lives change for the glory of God," says Pete. "Whether that is through building relationships with students by playing basketball or working out in the gym, leading a guy to Christ over a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, or gathering with a bunch of students on Wednesday nights to worship God and teach about His love and the life He offers us in Him, I have the best job in the world!"
Pete lives just a few blocks from campus and loves to have students over for barbecues, milkshake nights, or to watch an occasional sporting event or movie!
