William Hayes serves as Associate Chaplain and Director of Wilderness Ministry at Ohio Wesleyan University. He leads fall and spring break wilderness trips, the Outdoor Ministry Team, and other Bible studies and discipleship groups.
“My passion in ministry and my vocational goal, put simply, is to communicate and teach God’s truth as it contrasts with the world’s truth,” says William. “College students are at the formative stage of life when they are deciding the purpose and meaning their life will have. I believe it is a critical time of life for them to hear and understand God’s truth and decide to follow Him. College students need a place where they can safely ask tough questions and also have an opportunity to hear about the life and truth offered to them in Jesus Christ.”
