Peter Bowersox ministers to students at Williamson College of the Trades through his role as Director of Student Engagement. He also works as a member of the CCO's Experiential Designs (XD) Team.
“I love working for the CCO,” says Peter. “I am excited about the vision to transform college students. I am excited about helping students integrate their faith and life while encouraging them to make an impact in the world. Williamson is a great place to talk with students about faith. Metaphors for discipleship are all over the place and my background in the trades gives me credibility and a platform for conversation.”
When he is not discipling students or helping develop their leadership skills, Peter can often be found in the gym holding his own against guys half his age or leading a movie discussion.
Peter has a passion for justice. He serves on the school's Diversity Council and uses the Guild House (a space for hospitality, conversation, and discipleship) as a safe space for students to discuss issues of race and equality.
"Doc B" holds a DMin and MDiv, both from Biblical Seminary. In addition to his work with the CCO, he serves with Mosaic Norristown, a ministry he founded with his wife.
