CCO Associate Minhwan An reaches out to students at Penn State Abington.
Minhwan was born and raised in South Korea and came to the United States in 2006 after finishing his mandatory military service. He studied East Asian Studies at UCLA before earning his Master’s degree in International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
“I believe that it is critical for students to know the word of God during college before they go out to the world and to learn how to express their passion and desire to serve God as the follower of Jesus Christ,” says Minhwan. “I’d like to navigate and encourage them not only in professional ways but also holistically as I walk along with students as a companion.”
Minhwan has traveled extensively and lived in Korea, Japan, China, the United States, and West Africa. “I experienced working with different ethnic and racial groups of people from the UN and various entities. I am committed to reflect the ethnic diversity of God’s kingdom on college campus.”
