Ohio Wesleyan University partners with the CCO to bring on an excellent Chaplain and Wilderness Ministry Director.

A CCO staff member is the Associate Chaplain and Director of Wilderness Ministry for OWU. He leads the Outdoor Ministry Team, a group that meets regularly for Bible study and to connect faith with leadership and outdoor skills. He also leads wilderness trips, from shorter weekend trips to the Spring Break Wilderness Trek program. Through these and other interactions, he develops mentoring and discipleship relationships with students.

Ohio Wesleyan University has been blessed by its close partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach for over 20 years. Over these two decades, thousands of OWU students have participated in CCO’s annual Jubilee, and hundreds of OWU students have grown through CCO Bible studies, wilderness treks and other ministries.
