Geneva College
Geneva College partners with the CCO to bring on excellent campus and wilderness ministry staff.
Geneva's Assistant Director of Campus ministry is a CCO staff person who is engaged in whole-life discipleship with students.
The CCO staff member who serves as director of the Pisgah Program ( a wilderness ministry program) uses experiences and adventure activities to challenge students to live faithfully for Christ in all areas of life. Some of the activities the Pisgah Program organizes and facilitates include camping, backpacking, rock-climbing, rappelling, paddling, Bible studies, conferences, group initiatives, and team-building experiences on their 50+ acre ropes course.
The mission of Geneva College is to minister and educate a diverse community of students, and our partnership with the CCO helps us to fulfill that mission. By serving in a variety of positions over our +30 year relationship, CCO staff members have impacted enumerable lives on our campus. Today, the CCO brings expertise, experience, and a ministry focus to our outdoor education program (Pisgah) that just simply would not exist were it not for our relationship with the CCO.
I would characterize our staff as committed professionals seeking to be the light of Christ on our campus while they educate and minister to our students in a unique and exciting environment of God’s creation. Without our partnership with the CCO, our program simply could not function at its current pace.
