Best Christian Place to Work Winner
The CCO has been recognized as a Best Christian Workplace annually since the award was first introduced in 2002. The award is given out annually by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI) to recognize outstanding Christian workplaces.
Each year, employees from organizations around the country participate in the anonymous BCW survey, which measures employee job satisfaction, employee organizational commitment, supervisory effectiveness, opportunities for personal growth and development, teamwork, and fairness of pay and benefits.
The not-so-secret key to the CCO receiving this distinction year after year is staff members’ confidence in the ministry’s leadership and clear understanding of the organization’s mission.
“The college years are a crossroad for so many students,” says Dan Dupee, Chairman of the Board for the CCO, and a BCWI -recognized Outstanding Leader. “We have the privilege of helping college students incorporate their Christian faith into every avenue of life. Since being involved in the CCO’s ministry during my own college years, I’ve been convinced that this is probably the way college ministry ought to be done.”
