Sue Johnston is a CCO Associate, serving international students at Penn State University Park alongside her husband Walt.
Before joining the CCO, Sue lived and worked in the Philippines for 23 years teaching women’s Bible studies and training women in ministry. She’s also worked in Jamaica teaching at a Bible college and at an academy in Kenya, Africa.
“College caused me to really think through who I am and what life is all about,” says Sue. “I felt lost, and this led me to finding God. God changed me dramatically during those years through a campus ministry. I want to help students discover the truth of God’s Word and His wonderful gift of salvation. Having lived overseas, I also can relate to being a foreigner. I want to reach out to international students to help them know and understand the love of God.”
